Visitor's Guide to Milford
The Beach House pub & restaurant in Milford on Sea was opened in May 2012 in the Grade II Listed manor house that was previously Westover Hall Hotel. The Beach House is now owned and operated by the Dorset-based brewer Hall & Woodhouse, famed locally for their award-winning range of "Badger" ales.
The menu at The Beach House is a very typical British pub affair, with all the traditional favourites like fish & chips, pies, sausage and mash etc plus some Hall & Woodhouse "best sellers" including their excellent burgers and the best curly fries we've ever had!
The pub has a very good reputation locally and you're always assured of a warm welcome and great value for money, two things which are increasingly uncommon these days. Because of it's popularity, it's very advisable to book in advance if you possibly can, although they do have a lot of space, including a large outside terrace which is fantastic on a sunny, warm day.
Diners can choose to eat in a number of different wood-panelled rooms (some with stunning sea views), out on the terrace above the garden or on tables in the large sunny garden.
